«Soviet Champagne» AMBASSADOR was awarded a Golden Star in Brussels

Semi-sweet «Soviet Champagne» AMBASSADOR won a Golden Star for «Notable Taste» at the Superior Taste Award contest held by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) in Brussels.

The  International  Taste  &  Quality  Institute ( iTQi), based in Brussels, Belgium, is the world's leading organization dedicated to testing and promoting superior food and drink products. The judges are highly qualified tasters and recognized experts in their field; they are selected from the 15 most prestigious European culinary and sommeliers associations.

The Superior Taste Award is a unique international recognition that is focused on the blind judgment of Chefs and Sommeliers with vast experience in the art of tasting.  This award is an independent and convincing argument in favor of the quality of our products.

It is worth noting that the participants in this contest are the major manufacturers of alcohol worldwide.

This was the first year when «Soviet Champagne» TM AMBASSADOR participated in the contest and immediately won such a prestigious European award. It is also important that this is the first award and the first time when our domestic «Soviet Champagne» received international recognition on the European market, which has traditionally been considered a trendsetter in this segment.

«Soviet Champagne» ТМ AMBASSADOR is made according to the traditional «Soviet Champagne» production method, introduced in 1937, by continuous champagnization in tanks from carefully selected best Sauvignon and Chardonnay champagne grape varieties.

Its main distinctive feature is a white label with gold lettering and TM AMBASSADOR sign. This is what distinguishes the product among other competitors.

«Produced by traditional technology from high quality materials on state-of-the-art Italian equipment, «Soviet Champagne» TM AMBASSADOR has absorbed all of the experience of our staff and our commitment to offer only the best products to our customers,» - says Ivan Trotsky, General Director of MGWF.

The head of our company is actually a Doctor of Science in the field of winemaking. His doctoral thesis, defended in the last year, and dedicated to the technology of production of white sparkling wines, has practical value: his work resulted in the improvement of the technological process and the release of varietal «Soviet Champagne», as well as obtaining a patent for the production of «Soviet Champagne».

This product has also successfully established itself on the external market – in Russia - by winning a gold medal at «Prodexpo-2016»  in Moscow in February!
