Oak is a sacred tree for the Belarusians. It symbolized power, courage and steadfastness, our ancestors imagined oak as the world tree around which the entire universe moves. At the most important moments of their lives the Belarusians came to the oak forest to get help: to find health, family happiness, strong progeny. There is a belief that oak has the ability to give its power to man. To be healthy, it is enough to lean on the oak trunk and stand for a few minutes. The power of its wood contributed to the fact that the oak became a symbol of longevity. Since then, there has been a Belarusian tradition of preparing Dubnyak - infusion on oak, treating guests with this beverage and wishing them good health, happiness and prosperity.
Dubnyak is made according to a traditional recipe with the addition of rye distillate. It consists of 9 spices and herbs. Taste: soft, slightly burning, male, balanced, with hints of oak and walnut.
