Vodka “Svayak” won a Golden Star in Belgium

Vodka “SVAYAK. STANDARD” won a Golden Star for “Notable Taste” at the Superior Taste Award 2016 contest held in Belgium.

The International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi), based in Brussels, Belgium, is the world's leading organization dedicated to testing and promoting superior food and drink products. The judges are highly qualified tasters and recognized experts in their field; they are selected from the 15 most prestigious European culinary and sommeliers associations.

The Superior Taste Award is a unique international recognition that is focused on the blind judgment of Chefs and Sommeliers with vast experience in the art of tasting alcoholic beverages.

The award is given based on the aggregate points for each of the following criteria: initial assessment, appearance, aroma, taste, and final assessment. For one of the above criteria "Svayak" scored maximum points (100 out of 100 possible).

“Svayak” has a history of winning international competitions. In 2013 vodka “Svayak. Standard” won a gold medal at the prestigious International Spirits Challenge in London. Then in 2014 “Svayak” won another gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco. And then in February 2016 it got the highest award - Golden Star – at ProdExpo International Exhibition in Moscow.

Formula for the brand’s success is quite simple – the highest quality. This is what distinguishes “Svayak.Standard” among huge numbers of other vodkas available on the market.

The company director Ivan Trotsky points out: "This achievement is absolutely deserved, as we make every effort to improve the quality of our products, seeking to offer only best drinks to Belarusian customers".

“Release of this product is overseen by Deputy General Director for Production Alexander Tsven - the same man who managed the production at the Nemiroff plant in Ukraine. His experience and knowledge now help “Svayak” win awards at international competitions and find its way to the hearts of the consumers", - said Ivan Trotsky.

Technology "100% Pure Quality”™

All stages of the “Svayak” production process are combined into one single technology called "100% Pure Quality”™. It is a complex of technological processes, control systems for incoming raw materials, water treatment and filtration, that makes it possible to produce clean vodka with the new higher level of quality that exceeds the existing standards (GOST and STB).

Firstly, all raw materials and components, including incoming alcohols undergo complete incoming inspection. Each batch of alcohol passes not only physical and chemical chromatographic monitoring, but also mandatory tasting control.

Cleaning and blending water

The other component of vodka is water. Water monitoring is conducted on a very high level, thus both artesian and prepared water undergo rigorous inspection. Water is treated according to the special multi-stage cleaning process. But it still maintains all of its "live" properties – “Svayak” acquires its distinctive harmonized taste only because of the presence of minerals in the water. The process of blending water is the company’s know-how and is fully automated.

Multi Filtration

Svayak” is filtered using only natural filtration materials – processed through active birch coals. A coal with "directional effect" has been exclusively developed for Minsk Grape Wines Factory by a leading company in wood charcoal production. Processing with activated charcoal is the central step in vodka filtration process. The taste of vodka becomes refined precisely at the moment when the water-alcohol mixture comes in contact with activated carbon (charcoal). As an additional filtration step quartz sand is used. Final cleaning through platinum filters adds an extra touch of noble taste to the drink. The system of filtration by stages is the company’s proprietary technological process called Multi Filtration

Natural extracts

Only natural extracts of plants and herbs are used in production of “Svayak”: birch buds, linden flower, ginger, oak bark, and many other species. The company has its own facility with modern equipment for the production of alcohol tinctures and aromatic alcohols, prepared using only natural plant raw materials.

Another contributing factor to achieving high quality the company’s proprietary hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) system used for monitoring the main stages of the liquor production process, providing for 100% control not only by the technical personnel but also by the production laboratory staff. All these monitoring stages are highly transparent and effective due to the food safety control system implemented by the company at its facilities.

In view of the above it may be stated that "Svayak" brand products have reached a new level of quality, as the company produces and controls the quality of the natural flavor ingredients, which may be justifiably considered a full quality control of the production cycle, resulting in the products that successfully compete with the best global brands.
