Sparkling semi-dry white wine “GLERA”

An elegant novelty product of the summer season is the sparkling semi-dry white wine “Glera”.

This is another Terra d’Oro (Italian for “the Land of Gold”) wine.

Glera is the grape variety used to make the popular Prosecco sparkling wine. Our Glera wine is made from the same grape variety grown in Moldova. And similarly to Prosecco, it is made using the Charmat method.

Glera has a pale straw yellow colour and a fine mousse. The wine’s bouquet has delicate floral notes with hints of yellow apple and pear, peach and apricot. The flavour is clear, pleasant, delicate, smooth, slightly sweet, with a fresh acidity and a soft texture.

The wine can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or as part of cocktails. Refrigerate before serving.
